International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women

From IES San Álvaro, we want to join all the demonstrations and signs of solidarity showed by millions of people towards those women who suffer abuse and violence throughout the world.
The past 25th November, Thursday, we joined the other high schools in our district to express our rejection to violence against women. Our teenagers are the adults of tomorrow, and so education becomes more crucial than ever to sweep away prejudices and sexist traditions.
