Fin de trimestre

Ya hemos llegado al final del 1º trimestre, ¡qué rápido se ha pasado el tiempo! Desde el Departamento de Idiomas os deseamos unas felices fiestas y que en el año nuevo vengáis con las "pilas cargadas" y con ganas de trabajar y mejorar ;)

CHRISTMAS CARDS COMPETITION

The Departments of English, French and Art are organising a Christmas cards competition this December. There will be 3 fabulous prizes for the 3 best cards, so... unleash the artist in you and create your personal Christmas card!

The deadline is 21st December and the winners will receive their prizes the last day of class, the 23rd of December. Good luck to all!

International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women

From IES San Álvaro, we want to join all the demonstrations and signs of solidarity showed by millions of people towards those women who suffer abuse and violence throughout the world.
The past 25th November, Thursday, we joined the other high schools in our district to express our rejection to violence against women. Our teenagers are the adults of tomorrow, and so education becomes more crucial than ever to sweep away prejudices and sexist traditions.
